Mentoring

Mentoring CCAs provide senior students with the opportunity to support younger IGCSE students as they tackle their first external examination courses.

Teacher supervisors support this important program by linking mentors with mentees, providing a framework for the sessions, and holding students involved accountable. But, all sessions are run by senior students.

As grade 11 students are providing a necessary ‘service’ to younger students with less experience, IBDP students can include mentoring CCAs in their CAS program.

Mentoring CCAs currently include:

• Geography

• History

• Languages (Chinese, French and Japanese)

• Mathematics

• Science
