The French DELF A2 Preparation CCA is designed for students learning French as a Foreign Language who wish to strengthen their language skills and prepare for the DELF A2 exam, an internationally recognised certification awarded by the French Ministry of Education. Through engaging and practical activities, students will build confidence in listening, speaking, reading, and writing while deepening their understanding of French culture and everyday communication.
Objectives:
Prepare students for the four components of the DELF A2 exam: listening, reading, writing, and speaking.
Reinforce core grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation in meaningful contexts.
Develop communicative competence
Familiarise students with the exam format, strategies, and timing.
Activities include:
Practice conversations and role-plays based on real-life situations.
Listening comprehension exercises and guided discussions.
Writing workshops focusing on typical DELF tasks (letters, messages, short descriptions).
Outcome:
By the end of the CCA, participants will be well-prepared to sit for the official DELF A2 exam that will take place in May 2026, and continue their journey toward higher proficiency levels.
CAS Strand: Creativity
This CCA helps students to learn the French language and understand culture in an interactive way. It supports the students creativity and curiosity to develop new proficiencies in unconventional ways.
