Blue Dragon

The Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation is a non-profit organisation based in Vietnam that is dedicated to rescuing and supporting vulnerable children and young people in crisis situations such as slavery, homelessness, and extreme poverty.

Participants in this CCA will work in partnership with Blue Dragon to support them and the vital work that they do. This may involve running events, fundraising, advocacy, organisation of key speakers and more.

CAS Strand: Service and Creativity

Participants in this CCA will support Blue Dragon, directly and indirectly, to help support their commitment to stop human trafficking and support people who have been trafficked. This CCA will also focus on advocacy, drawing attention to human trafficking and ways to resolve it.

Students will also exercise their creativity and utilise their talents, interests, passions, emotions, and imagination to advocate for and organise fundraising events to support Blue Dragon.

Lasallian Principles: Respect for all persons, Inclusive Community, Quality Education and Concern for the Poor and Social Justice

Concern for the Poor and Social Justice: This CCA supports this Lasallian Value as it concerns social justice. Human trafficking is a horrible crime and should not happen under any circumstances, spreading awareness and raising funds to help blue dragon promotes this value.

Quality Education: This CCA supports this Lasallian Value, because we will be educating the students in school about this global issue of human trafficking so they can have more knowledge about it.

Respect for All Persons: In the CCA students will respect everyone’s opinions and ideas when planning events or learning more about Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation.

Inclusive Community: This CCA supports this Lasallian Value by bringing the community together in helping people that really need help and are at risk of life. Also, the group of students in this CCA will also be a small community that are inclusive and kind to each other.
