Digital Media Club

The Digital Media Club (DMC) provides an opportunity for students to serve the school and hone their creative, media, and production skills - specifically in developing, curating, and managing digital signage content for SJII TV screens. Students will learn and manage Vivi, SJII's wireless screen mirroring and digital signage tool, and closely collaborate with ACO and ICT Department.

CAS Strand: Creativity and Service

The Digital Media Club allows the students to curate, design, and develop digital text, animated or video messages to communicate information, announcements, promotions, and entertainment for the SJII community. Moreover, DMC will manage the school's TV screens and digital signage software.

Lasallian Principles: Inclusive Community, Respect for All Persons, Quality Education, Faith in the Presence of God, and Concern for the Poor and Social Justice

In this CCA, the student manages, screens, and develops an array of digital signage content to be shown on the school's TV screens through Vivi boxes. Thus, members of the Digital Media Club are at the forefront of promoting the Lasallian Values and Principles.

In the process, students are engaged to collaborate with their fellow students, and members of the faculty and staff, and come up of creative and innovative ideas to successfully and effectively communicate messages to the SJII community.

Curating and developing digital signage content will involve much discernment and considerations that would not comprise the principle of inclusivity and respect for all people. This CCA will also highlight and celebrate the achievements, and milestones of each member and the SJII community as a whole. Announcements, notices, and events on faith formation and concern for the Poor and Social Justice will be a regular topic or theme of DMC's content.
