Philosophy Club

The Philosophy Club would be an opportunity for students to discuss and debate philosophical and ethical issues that are relevant to our world. These issues could possibly range from an investigation into what "happiness" actually is to the role of morality in society.

CAS Strand: Creativity

Students will be encouraged to broaden their thinking which is a creative process. This will ultimately result in a consideration of a range of points of view as well as perspectives.

Lasallian Principles: Respect for all Persons and Inclusive Community.

The Principle of "Respect for All Persons" is essential in being able to have a constructive discussion or debate on any philosophical or ethical issue. This inevitably leads to a more inclusive community because of the greater understandings gained of one another as well as our world.
