Film Appreciation

The film appreciation CCA aims to advocate the development of students’ knowledge and understanding surrounding cinema. The CCA will cover a variety of films from different genres or countries. Most sessions will involve viewing and discussing a particular film in hopes of deepening each student's admiration of cinema.

CAS Strand: Creativity

Film Appreciation will allow students to engage with a variety of film makers and genres to widen their understanding of the surrounding world. Creative, and creative thought, is embedded within our discussions surrounding aspects of film. Finally, students are encourage to craft their own films to mirror elements of our discussed films.

A variety of films will allow for students to develop a wide-ranging appreciation of other cultures and people.
