Tech Tutoring

Tech Tutoring is a unique and compassionate Co-Curricular Activity (CCA) where students make a meaningful impact by teaching elderly individuals at the Goodlife Community Center in Yishun how to navigate the digital world every Friday. Through patient guidance and hands-on assistance, students help seniors discover the wonders of technology, enabling them to stay connected with loved ones, access information, and explore new horizons. Tech Tutoring not only equips our students with essential teaching skills but also fosters intergenerational bonds while bridging the digital divide. 

CAS Strand: Creativity and Service

Teaching elderly people how to use technology necessitates creativity because it involves bridging generational and experiential gaps in a way that's engaging, relatable, and tailored to their unique needs. It involves finding creative solutions to overcome potential challenges, building confidence, and fostering a sense of accomplishment as elderly learners embrace the digital world. Creativity, in this context, helps ensure that technology education for the elderly is not only effective but also a positive and enriching experience.
