Tennis Competitive Squads

In this activity, students will engage in weekly training sessions to develop their tennis skills supported by the expertise of SJII's faculty and supported by external coaches as well. Throughout the term, students will be introduced to more complex drills, develop a greater awareness of their skills and strengths.

Students who take part in this CCA will also have the opportunity to represent the school in ACAMIS competitions. Students will compete in the following age groups: 14U, 16U and 19U.

Competitive matches require students to compete in singles, doubles and as teams.

CAS Strand: Activity

By engaging with drills, repetition of skills and by playing simulated games and competitions between other schools, members of the tennis CCA will exhibit respect for themselves, teammates and the opposition. ‘Good sportsmanship’ will underpin this CCA by fostering good habits and positive life skills.
