Girls in Code

Girls in Code is a supportive and empowering space designed to inspire young women to explore, create, and lead through technology. The CCA provides opportunities for members to learn coding, problem-solving, and design thinking in a collaborative environment. Sessions will include guided mini-projects, coding challenges, and discussions about women in STEM. By working together, students will build confidence, improve their programming skills, and celebrate the creativity and innovation that coding enables.

CAS Strand: Creativity

This activity embodies Creativity by encouraging students to design and develop original coding projects and digital solutions. Members are inspired to experiment with new ideas and explore creative approaches to real-world problems through technology.

Girls in Code upholds the Lasallian principles Quality Education and Respect for All Persons. It welcomes students of all abilities and backgrounds, fostering a culture of encouragement and shared learning.
