Conservation Matters
Conservation Matters is a student-led service group which advocates for our planet's environment. The group aims to raise awareness of endangered plants and animals and how we as humans can have a positive impact. Regular events include beach clean-ups and social media advocacy as well as organising Conservation Week.
CAS Strands: Service and Creativity
Service is at the heart of this CCA, serving our planet and advocating for local and international environmental groups.
From a creative stance, the group regular produces artwork, posters and videos as part of its media campaign
Lasallian Principles: Inclusive Community and Social Justice
The group advocates for endangered plants and animals promoting social justice through conservation of our planet. It is truly inclusive as it considers our sustainable relationship with nature in our role as guardians of the animals and humans who live off the land.
