Kits To Heart
Participants in this CCA will design and make items for Cancer Patients to support “Kits to Heart”. This organisation collects donations from around the world and distributes them to people in need. The care kits can include items like: Handwritten Inspiring Letters, Origami, Friendship bracelets, Crochet/Knit bags and anything appropriate that they would like to make. CAS Strand: Creativity and Service
The “Kits to Heart” CCA is aligned with the Creativity and Service strands as participants will use their imagination and expression to design and make the items for patients in need.
Lasallian Principles: Respect for All Persons and Inclusive Community.
Participants in this CCA will demonstrate Respect for All Persons by making items for cancer patients who are going through a difficult and often isolating experience.
Additionally, "Kits to Heart" supports the Lasallian Value of Inclusive Community. by fostering a collaborative and supportive environment of people committed to helping others regardless of their background, age, or interests.
