Over the Rainbow

Participants in this CCA will make artworks to support Over The Rainbow's publication: Rainbow Connection. Artworks will be themed according to the magazine issues and will include feature artworks and illustrations to support articles. CAS Strand: Creativity and Service

Participants in this CCA will make meaningful, empathetic, and original content to support mental health and suicide prevention among teenagers.

Lasallian Principles: Inclusive Community and Respect for All Persons

Students will not be seeing themselves as separate from their audience, they must acknowledge the mental health needs they have, and the context they are in as being parallel with the readers of Rainbow Connection. Through learning about mental health needs in the publication, and considering appropriate illustrations, they will gain awareness and empathy.
