The CWW Initiative
Participants in this CCA are passionate about addressing the Sustainable development goals of No poverty, Quality education, and Reduced inequalities. The objective is to equip underprivileged children with a better future, so the majority of our sessions will be working towards this goal.
Participants will engage in direct and indirect service to support the Children Wishing Well Foundation; a Singaporean organisation that aims to provide holistic education and support for daily living needs to disadvantaged children and youth living in Singapore to empower them to escape the poverty trap.
CAS Strand: Service and Creativity
The aim of this service CCA is to utilise our participant's experience, talents and voices to help make a contribution to the lives of underprivileged children who are supported by the Children’s Wishing Well Foundation.
This CCA is also aligned with creativity, as participants will explore their sense of expression by researching and designing educational materials to support the local community.
Lasallian Principles: Concern for the poor and social justice and Quality education
Participants in this CCA, will provide valuable opportunities for those who come from lower-income families in Singapore.
This CCA is also aligned with Quality Education as the main objectives of the initiative are to advocate the importance of education and support those who are not afforded the same educational opportunities as us.
