CAS Strand: Creativity and Service

Beginner Piano Lessons provide students with an opportunity to develop a passion and love for music, whether it be through composing a simple piece, playing a pop song, or performing a classical piece. By being exposed to a new instrument, they will learn to express themselves, their emotions and improve their wellbeing by learning and interpreting existing pieces and/or creating original work.

This CCA also provides a valuable direct service opportunity for instructors to share their expertise to the school community, helping to foster a shared passion for music and the piano.
